Recent Changes to CE Requirements

Beginning Sept. 1, 2023 there is no longer an Earthquake CE requirement.

The earthquake CE requirement has been lifted effective for renewals occuring on Sept 1, 2023 and after.

There is still a total of 24 hours of CE required for Agent and Adjuster license renewals to include:

3 hours ethics

2 hours legislative update

19 hours general credit*

*1-4 hours of annuity Best Interest to be included in general credit total IF selling annuities.

New Annuity Best Interest CE requirements

Effective Sept 1, 2023 life licensees that sell annuity products will be required to complete 1-4 hours of new Annuity Best Interest courses.
